The Dolce

Seamless Screen Room System

The Dolce Screen Room System can be added to any Renaissance Patio patio cover. Upgrading your patio to a screen room allows you to enjoy your outdoor relaxation, without the worry of bugs and other wild animals disturbing you. The Dolce is our updated take on screen wall construction. It’s unlike traditional screen wall systems, which work with a patchwork of clips and screw heads. Our screen room system incorporates all aircraft-grade extruded aluminum alloy for strength, with powder coating for a durable finish. It even goes as far as to hide the screws holding it all together.

Why You’ll Love the Dolce Patio Cover

The Dolce Patio Cover was designed with one simple goal in mind: to provide your friends and family an architecturally beautiful space to enjoy the great outdoors while keeping the sometimes not-so-great weather at bay.

When we designed the Dolce screen system, we wanted to be able to screen in any of our patio covers with a system that hides all of the screws, nuts, and bolts that are plainly visible on other screen systems. Using aluminum profiles that are 40% thicker than standard, we create massive screen openings to keep framing out of your view. The Dolce system integrates without post and beam system to give you the ultimate screened-in a patio, suited to your structure, home, and most importantly, your view.

Aircraft grade powder-coated extruded aluminum can stand the test of time while remaining beautiful and requiring little to no maintenance. High carbon steel and nylon headed fasteners withstand the worst nature can throw at them. Automotive grade nylon covers and caps create a smooth and complete appearance designed to live in the sun.

Designed and engineered for the extremes of Miami-Dade county wind zone, Colorado snow loads, and Texas summer sun. You can build a Renaissance Patio anywhere in the country with confidence. Our network of independent installers know the local codes and will custom design a space to fit the local weather and building code requirements.

You dream of a place to retreat from the world, and we want to make that dream come true. All Renaissance Patios are designed to be built quickly and affordably, this is only possible due to smart design and efficient manufacturing. The use of modern materials means you spend time enjoying your patio, not painting, staining, washing, and maintaining it.

The Dolce Options

Want to take your Dolce screen system to the next level? Well, you’re in luck, as we have plenty of options, from fully enclosed glass walls to create the perfect four-season sunroom, to screen walls, to custom decorative add-ons and accessories.

Screen Room

The most common method is using an outer track and vertical support to create small openings. These are easy to screen with just about any screen product on the market. The Dolce system track is much stronger than the industry standard and comes with a high-strength screen mesh so you can eliminate all that framing and create huge vistas.

Your Dolce system can incorporate a “chair rail”, like standard systems — only our extruded aluminum is 50% stronger than standard. Install your chair rail but eliminate the standard vertical piece that spoils your view.

Your Dolce system can incorporate a “kick plate” which is the lower part of your screen room for a more typical look. Kick plates come in standard aluminum or insulated panel for a cleaner look.

Very impressive! Your materials and quantities were perfect. I walked out with one box of extrusion cut-offs.

Everything was right and nicely packed and protected.

I’ve been doing this 37 years and can’t remember a better supplier-packaged inventory. Whatever you gentlemen are doing is right.

We love our new pergola! The Renaissance team did a great job all the way from design to install. We chose them because the material is beautiful and high end looking. We are thrilled to have some shade in our yard!

The Pros and Cons of the Dolce Patio Cover

Everything in life has its ups and downs, pros and cons, and the Dolce is no exception.

  • Keeps bugs out
  • Smoothest, cleanest screen wall system available
  • Designed to match the style of Renaissance Patio roofs and covers

  • Like all screen walls, Dolce slows down air flow through the space, so you might want to consider a fan
  • Screen walls of any kind act as filters, darkening the view out slightly
